Each Christmas, Dan’s friends from high school get together to celebrate Christmakkuh (you probably guessed that we honor both Hanukkuh and Christmas at this party). I believe this year was the 6th annual and it was held at our home. A great time was had by all and it was wonderful to be able to catch up with good friends. Everyone’s lives are so different now…we’re grown ups!
Brittain stuck around long enough to greet everyone before going to Mimi and Duke’s to spend-the-night.

Brittain talked with Patrick McEwen about her Bumbo seat and how she felt like a big girl sitting up:

December 9th was a special day for all of us, especially for the Evans’ family. Robert was baptized and we had the honor of witnessing the baptism and then joining the family for a lunch after the service to celebrate. Justin, Kate, Leah and Robert are such a beautiful family and we’re blessed to have them in our lives.
Kate and the kids are in England right now, spending time with her family for Christmas. We miss them so much and can’t wait until they get back!
Here are a few pictures from the day (thanks to Bradley for taking them)!

And the party afterwards. These two decided to nap…until their parents were ready to eat:

Emma Kate invited the group to her home for a Christmas party. There were gifts, games, good company, and delicious food made by her parents!

Let me explain this next picture…Dan and Bradley set up 2 cameras and put the timer on each. Dan set his so that there would actually be 3 pictures taken, one right after the other. So, 1 took, 2 took and then Dan said “that’s it”. I told him there was going to be one more, but he didn’t believe me. This picture was taken after Dan and Bradley jumped up:

And, he’s STILL looking:
